Greene, Tweed Introduces Case Study Series for Arlon® 3000 XT
Houston (November 2015) – As part of Greene, Tweed’s continuing efforts to share the latest news about Arlon® 3000 XT – the latest advanced engineering thermoplastic for HPHT environments – the company has released their first case study from the new Arlon 3000 XT case study series.
Arlon 3000 XT – Reducing Extrusion Failures in HPHT Conditions, shows how Arlon 3000 XT helped a Greene, Tweed customer overcome significant extrusion issues they were experiencing with a gamma ray window on their logging tool.

The microsite, launched this month, is the new destination resource for engineers and material scientists who are looking to learn more about Greene, Tweed’s pioneering thermoplastic. Last month, Greene, Tweed announced that Arlon 3000 XT achieved ISO 23936-1 and NORSOK M-710, Rev. 3 compliance. The compliance marks a significant accomplishment for Greene, Tweed and confirms that the material properties of Arlon 3000 XT make it an ideal choice for use in harsh, demanding oil and gas applications which are becoming more common throughout the industry.
